Any Aussie S-class Owners Out There?
JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE KNOWS WHEN THE FACE LIFTED S WILL BE IN AUSSIE SHOW ROOMS. MY DEALER MERCEDES-BENZ OF SYDNEY HAS BEEN QUITE RUDE AND HASN'T REPLIED TO MY EMAILS OR CALLS. YOU'D THINK THAT THEY'D WANT TO KISS UP A LITTLE WHEN I CAN DRIVE OVER TO SANDERSONS AND SPEND MY QUARTER OF A MILLION THERE!

My dealer in Brisbane said delivery should begin in the early months of next year i.e January/February.
Apparently there will be an AUS$8000 price hike acrosse the s-class range because of adjustments in specification such as the new DVD navigation, improved interior trim etc.

Wow thats pretty ridiculous seing as though we already pay a qaurter of a mill for an S500. As far as I was concerned the improvements will bring the quality up to the level it should have been from the initial launch. If they were to raise prices im sure a lot of buyers might take a look at the new 7 series which is already 20K cheaper for equivalent models and which has a higher initial spec.
