Rust Proofing

I wanted to Rust-Proof my 2001 S430. The service guy at the dearler said I really don't have to. However, I have learned that l am much better off having my car info/advice come from this website.

I live in toronto and am thinking of going to KROWN, the only issue I am concerned with is the drilling of holes.

Thanks

Better get it done bro, while searching for my s430 in toronto, I came across at least 6 w220's with rust believe it or not. It wasn't that bad but had started!!

rust proofing is snake oil. Rusty Jones went out of business in 1988, same with that ziebart crap. Often times it would cause rust because of a lazy installer. Just wash your car during the winter (underbody too) and use paint sealants.

I am not sure whether it is just the european cars, but I know my S has a 30yr rust warranty.

Im just about to send it in for the second time so they can do the job properly!!
