uh oh....i may be in trouble. okay, i'll stand by. but just to clarify (and not
an attempt to weasel out) I mean.... no such thing as H7 Xenon/HID. i know
that as far as H7, they can inject any fancy gas, be it krypton, xenon, halogen
...and i think one other. but xenon is usually a term used to describe HID. it's
this last part that i'm challenging. tnx

True .. it is a re-based D2S bulb with The H7 base.

Confused

Well I own a 2000 S320 with what I believe are halogen headlights.

I removed them and replaced them with aftermarket projector headlights.

Frankly they were absolute garbage. One light is at the wrong level and they only project about 10 feet infront of the car.

What do I do ?

Can I convert to HID ? I don't believe my car has any of the Xenon features so how do I do it? I'm just a little confused by what people are saying I don't quite understand what's going on, sorry to sound like a fool but any help would be appreciated otherwise I'll be back on the misty nasty OEM headlights which is no good !

Kind Regards

Ok maybe I've figured it out

Am I right in assuming that I need this -

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/00-01...spagenameZWD1V

Then I can install the Xenon HID into my aftermarket projectors and get the correct brightness etc ?

Kind Regards

It's not the brighness that's your problem.

If I had the money, I would buy OEM Halogen Projector lights. Can somone provide a link to where you can get the oem Halogen Projector lights. converting to HID I think is a lot of work and money.
