battery wire

where in the engine compartment can you find the positive wire that comes from the battery in the trunk.

The heaviest cable goes to the starter. Electrical distribution to other consumers is via two SAMs (Signal Acquisition and Activation Modules), one in the rear and one in the front. The flows are very complex. What are you looking for?

i'm looking to connect a power lead to one of the cables to hook up my diy hid so the location of the SAM in the front or is there no way to connect anything to that line without damaging the whole system.

It will have to go to the front SAM, but a consumer that large will require recoding the SAM with Star Diag. If the draw doesn't match a MB unit, it may not be possible. You probably won't damage anything but you will throw codes.

i guess i'll just run a wire from the trunk to the front thanks anyways
