halagen bulbs
i upgraded my headlights to the 03+ and there OEM but bought them from ebay, my passenger bulb constantly burns out then shortly after the drivers side goes, these are the low beam. all the other bulbs are fine and dont burn out, the last pair of bulbs i had where the silverstars that where 4000k h7s, what could be wrong? TIA

WAG.....if you still have your old drv side headlight assembly, pop that back
in and run it with your new bulbs. if it doesn't blow, i'd look downstream of the
headlight connector...eg the blades within the connector plug, then the pigtail
which goes direct into the low beam bulb, etc. Try to perform a continuity
check into these areas as well (power off, natch), as well as voltage reading
(both powered off and on).
does it burn out immediately upon powering up....or after a few mins or hrs..etc?

sorry, i didn't have my coffee yet. i lacked reading comprehension. okay, i read
it again and it makes more sense. sounds more problematic if both lights are
ailing and undergoing failure. more serious. let me think...
Q: ....but!....neither of the orig headlights suffered similarly, right? and you
were using same bulbs before and after the swap??
