Changing engine oil

I'm very new to all the DIY stuffs, i thought of changing the engine oil for my w220 myself, is anybody here has any idea whether i need to reset the computer system after the oil change? or i could simply change the engine oil and go. Thanks...

Fiscal Neo Con Express
Lightbulb What about your free service?

indow220,
what year is your S class? newer models have the free MB service every 10000 miles. if not and you decide to do it yourself the owners manual should have something in it about resetting the service indicator. personally I've never been a fan about waiting for 10000 miles to click by before an oil change. i change my oil every 5000 with mobil 1. i figure ...oils cheap...engines aren't! plus it only takes 15 minutes at most to do it.
