Does the S600 have the same brakes as the S500

Does the S600 have the same brakes as the S500

do they share the same brakes.and does the S600 have a different transmission then the S500 due to the power?

From what I understand, they're from the S55. Trans is beefed up from the S500.

S500 Brakes: 13.0" perforated and ventilated front discs. 11.8" ventilated rear discs. 4-piston fixed front and dual-piston fixed rear calipers. (Dual-piston floating front calipers with 4MATIC.)

S600 Brakes: 14.2" perforated and ventilated front discs. 13.0" perforated and ventilated rear discs. 4-piston fixed front and dual-piston fixed rear calipers.

S55 Brakes: AMG-enhanced 14.2" perforated and ventilated front discs. 13.0" perforated and ventilated rear discs. AMG 8-piston fixed front and AMG 4-piston fixed rear calipers.

S65 Brakes: AMG-enhanced 15.4" front discs with AMG 8-piston calipers. 13.7" rear discs with AMG 4-piston calipers.

I think it mainly refers to the calipers. The S65 rotors are composite as well.
