'03 S500 questions
I'm about to buy an '03 S500 with the sport package from a friend. Can anyone tell me what types of problems they may have experienced with this vehicle? Also, Anyone know where to get an owners manual? Any help would be great. Thanks

I'd avoid the S if I were you. The honeymoon is over quite quickly with these cars, then your beautiful new wife gains 40 pounds, is always in a full length robe, and starts chain smoking Newports.

2003 S class
2003 was the turnaround for the 220. I had 2002 with lots of problems, but my 2004 has run for three years with no trouble. Test drove a 2007 and really didn't feel the quality or the car itself was substantially better than what I have. There were many more improvements then the eye can see in 2003 and 2004. I can e-mail you the owners manual or you can get it from MBUSA's owners on-line after you purchase it. Good luck!
