Slippage?
Car jerks when I tap on the gas lightly and then apply brake! Feels like the transmission spun a little rumbling I can feel it on the gas pedal!? Anyone know if what it could be. This only happens sometimes when I start off slowly and then have to brake for some reason! Thanks for the help!

I think it's more of like a little rumbling sound or jerking motion as if the car was trying to get into gear??? It revs up slightly and then gets into 1st gear and the car vibrates a little. I used to have a similar problem with my 1990 Acura Legend, but that was because I used to do burnouts from neutral to drive! It is somewhat similar like the car just jerks a little when I give it some gas and let go right away!

You could try a transmission reset, I cant remember exactly how to do it, quick search will bring it up (could be under throttle body reset)

noo thats something else... thats the same thing as resetting the ecu... it makes ur transmission shift faster and harder....

np... i think thats a good idea to have a mechanic look it.. u might need a new gearbox..somebody else on the forum has the exact same problem and it turned out to be the gearbox was really ddirrtyy from all the stuff that was spilled into it...

My bad, its just that when I did it on my car, it shifted a lot smoother between 1st and 2nd

mine does the samething but only when driving at around 10mph but if ur accelerating 20+ you dont feel anything, maybe we need some ATF?
