The feeling of wind blowing the car
I have recently purchased my first S-Class, an '01 S55, and absolutely love it! However, as I have been driving the car sometimes it feels as though the wind is blowing hard against the car. I remember reading a post about someone with this same sensation, and at the time there was no solution, but I cannot seem to find it under the search function to determine the fix. Is this an early sign of airmatic troubles? I have no error messages or malfunctions regarding the suspension...any idea what this could be? It has been windy here, but I do not get the same sensation from the E Class. What gives?
Also, I got my first malfunction message tonight...tele aid visit workshop. I don't have teleaid and I did not find an answer for this in the search either. Any ideas?
Thank you!

Try stiffening the ride a bit; if the dashboard button with the shock absorber (strut) marking on it has no lights illuminated, it's on its softest setting where you feel crosswinds more. One light in the button is an intermediate setting, and two is a firm ride. I always kept my '00 on intermediate for normal driving, and on firm ride in crosswinds.

fusion2007, I had to laugh when I read your reply. Only because immediately upon taking delivery, I got pulled over for speeding! Literally about 5 minutes into my first drive I had no idea I was doing 68 in a 55. Not terribly bad and it only got me a warning, but as you stated, I had no idea of my speed it was that smooth!
Skylaw, I do not have the shock absorber button on my dash, just the ABC and the ride height button with the picture of the car and two lights. I keep my ABC activated all the time, so it may be nothing and it has been windy. I just do not feel the same in the E Class and doesn't the '01 S-Class have a drag coefficient of .27, better than a '92 E Class?
Anyone else keep their ABC "on" all the time?
