wood steering wheel

I just ordered my wood/leather shifter knob and would love to change my steering wheel to the burl/ java wheel I've seen them for about $400.00 which is not too bad, but what should I expect to pay at my local dealer to have it installed? has anywone ever done this? any help would be appreciated.
THANKS!

no bluffing, but i got a guy in San Mateo , CA whom makes those stering wheel ( yeah, he's the one makes those wood steering wheel) i ordered him 2 ( one for my S class and the other for my ML) with the total price was 800 ( local pick uo, no shipping charged) . I think he has his shop on Ebay too, scarfacegumdam, i believe... you guy should check that out... don't let those stealers charge you 800 for them. Installing is easy, the hard part is find a right screw driver to fit that 2 little holes in the back of the steering wheel ( those screws have star shape) and then after that it should be easy for you to unplug the air bag, last take the old steering wheel off the collum and undo those steps. Good luck. ( oh, i have the makers' email. PM me if you need it)
Kenneth

I've been charged $150 for labor when replacing mine. Took 30 minutes.

Good for you. You've said you got a guy who actually makes those cheesy wheels sold on eBay. I bet he tought you on how to change it properly without deploying the airbag by accident.

And me. I ain't got no cheesy wheel makers in friends so there ain't nobody to teach me on how to change the steering wheel. So yeah, I'm paying $150 to the dealer. So what?

By the way. Don't scratch the bonnet next time you sit on it
