auto folding mirrors

auto folding mirrors
My mirrors stoped folding in when locking my car could be from this ice storm we just had has anyone had this happen to them I have an 02' S500

We seem to have some problem with what is meant by "autofold." In most model years the mirrors will fold in response to the press of a button that is among the rest of the mirror controls on the driver's door.
In other years, there is an additional option programmable through the MFD (instrument cluster menus) that can be set to fold the mirrors when the car is locked, without pressing the button. It was not a feature in all model years.

folding mirrors
my mirrors always folded in when locking the car with the remote. they just now after 4 years they just all of the sudden stopped. i have an 02" S500
