S430L Limousine/Long Wheel Base Dimensions
Could anyone help me find the dimensions (length and width) of the w220 s class L version (Limousine/Long Wheel Base), i need to make sure it'll fit in my garage!!

Because you're using non-North American terminology, I assume you want the overall metric dimensions:
length -- 5158 mm
width -- 1866 mm
height -- 3085 mm
These are 2006 US specs. Other years and region might be slightly different.

much obliged. think I could shave a few centimetres off the width by folding the mirrors in? by these dimensions its 46mm wider than my jag s type which is a fairly tight squeeze through the garage door!

The mirrors do power fold. Assuming that the overall width includes them, you would save about 235 mm. At least on my '06 each mirror has about 117.5 mm less extension when folded. You'd be wise to verify that the overall width includes the extended mirrors, although it is likely it does. Also, mirror size might be dependent on year or region.
