Bought an S class!

Hi,

Today I bought a 2003 S430 with 59k on the clock. Amazing car so far. But I do have a concern. The navigation system is acting a bit weird. I try to set it to my location but it keeps setting to some location in Morgan Hill. I entered a destination here in the city and when it estimates the mileage it shows up as 141mi as if I'm driving from Morgan Hill. It also doesn't show where I am, doesn't show street names. The map is at a far distance & when I zoom it in, I get closer to where I am, but still no street names show up, just a bunch of gas station icons. Any idea how to preset it to my location, to show proper street names, and for the map to show where I am?

Here are some pics;

Congrats.........

If you think there is a problem with the NAV take it to a dealer. I'm not sure how to help because I use it rarely.

Nice car & welcome to the forum. Get your Comand Manual out and read how to do a total system reboot/restart. I have had to do it once and that might take care of your problem...let us know.
