Angry Mass Air Flow Sensor And O2 Sensor Need Replacing!

My Check Engine Light came on!Mass Air Flow Sensor And O2 Sensor need to be replaced its going to cost me 722.00 Dollars with parts and labor at my independent shop, is this a good price or not? My Dad Makes Fun Of Me Cause his honda doesnt give him this many problems and mine does.

Im not sure but it sounds decent (based on my independant dealer's pricing) .. I have the same exact problem, I am interested if others more knowledgable have an idea of good pricing on this!

Hell no, let your fingers do the walking.... Parts should be 250-400 range unless they are charging you full retail and the labor is easy...1 hour max. you should pay no more than 500.... what are they charging for parts and labor ? You can try finding a bosch maf etc. and just shop for a shop to do the labor ? negotiate with those guys once you get the brake down .. It should be a 150 max for labor..

i replaces MAF check engine light went off.......i thought O2 sensor didnt affect check engine light apparently it does, so i need to change that also and hopefully it will come off...

There are 4 O2 sensor all together. But you really just need to change the upstream 2. Those get beat up the most because they are ahead of the cats and subject to more extreme heat than the down stream ones.

I don't know about the O2 sensors, but I have yet to see a vehicle in which it is too difficult to replace a Mass Air Flow sensor. On my V8 it is a ten minute job and that's cleaning up everything as I go along.
