Question about pricing and bluetooth
Anyways, I recently think I found a bad *** deal on a 2004 S500 with only 8000 (yeah, 8000) miles for $49,000?
Now, I already have a car, but I'm wondering if this is really as good a deal that I think. The car is in excellent condition with no history of any problems (according to the dealer and CarFax). I'm trying to convince my dad to pick it up. It has all of the standard features and nothing I'm really missing except for two things. I want bluetooth on this car and a 6 disc CD changer...
...anyway I can get bluetooth on it? I have Razr's and Sony Ericsson phones...
Thanks and please let me know guys, first about the deal and should I just slap myself for not getting yet...and second about the phone thing.

There are two complications. One is that the puck is only certified to work with specific phones. The list is on the site. Other phones may or may not work.
The second complication is that you need the car to be "prewired" to accept the puck. This runs around $1,500 at the dealer. They install the electronics and a receptacle in the console that accepts either the puck or a cradle for one of a number of phones (also listed on the site). The cradle is a superior way to go in some people's opinion because it uses the car's antenna and amplifier for superior performance, and because it keeps the phone charged. Some new cradles offer Bluetooth and direct-connection capabilities in one.
Do a search here and you'll find lots of information about Bluetooth compatibility, plusses and minusses.
The car could already have a CD changer; if so, its location is on the left side of the trunk, just below the Nav DVD reader. If you don't have one, the part you need (and location plus installation instructions) are in the phone bulletins (yes, phone bulletins) on Paul Dick's site at http://home.earthlink.net/~phdwebsit..._bulletins.htm
