If you build up to much presssure you can pop the line off of the internal fitting. Then you have to remove the roof liner to get to it.
My ML had a leak problem on the sun roof. It only occurred after a very heavy rain. The drain was cracked around the seal where the tube exits. Under very heavy rain the water couldn't drain quickly enough and would back up, then seep down the side of the drain tube into the interior.

you know whats funny. you pay $250 000 canadian for a car you shouldn't have to worry about leaks. i've had a cadillac sts for 10 years now and i haven't had ANY leaks whatsoever

Just got a 02 s430 10 days ago and it's leaking water from the passenger roof light.When i took it to the dealer ,the manager insisted i left the roof open .
It's happened three times and i don't know what to do HELP !!!
