instrument cluster lighting

I remember when I first bought my car if I pulled on the door handle my interior dash would light up. Since I've had my cluster changed it no longer lights up until I start the car, is there a setting for this feature?
Thanks

That's a standard function for all upper class benzs ( I thought). you should check to see if your installer missed something when the cluster was version coded.

I had my IC replaced as well, and I am having the same issue. Thanks for the info.

Let us know if you get these fixed. I think it is a code the dealer sets.
