Can you brace the CD player more?

My cd's skip when I go over the slightest bump. Anyone else have this problem? I can only imagine what will happen when I switch form the 16" rims to 19" rims. What is the remedy?

if you remove it from the mount, dbl check to see if it is calibrated to the
orientation of the changer when mounted. on both sides it should be set
H for horiz and V for vert....with several settings in between. this is, of
course, presuming you have MC3010 or MC3198. i'm not sure if similar
settings are on other models.

the drive mechanism is isolated and rides on gel donuts. if you remove
the cover, verify that it hasn't slipped out or something.
