MB S500
22's on s500
I've had 22's on my S500 for two years and I drive it everyday and I've also driven it cross country during vacation on 22's. I have 245/30/22 all around and it drives better than the stock MB wheels that I had on it. As far as it pertains to the suspension bolt on the front end, there are tires made with thread and grooves for the MB suspension (lexani, vredenstein, delinte). They have the groove for that suspension bolt and you don't have to alter your expensive vehicle. You can go as far as 255/30/22 for the rear with a 22x10, but as far as the front I would stick with 245/30/22 with 22x8.5 or 9. This is what works for me not being a professional, but for my MB, I haven't had any issues with rubbing, bottoming out or anything. The brand of tire makes a huge difference as well. Be original and do you! I've been riding with my rims ever since I brought my car 5 years ago and haven't had a problem with either set; no rub with either set. Black 20's and chrome 22's. I rotate them every couple months to keep the haters hating! Right now got the factory rims on for the winter! S class rides smooth regardless just watch out for pot holes!

i get compliments every single day about this car and it the only one around just the baddest....i have replaced the lenses back to stock (clear) with the HID's and drives just fine.Once in a while ill go over a deep manhole cover and ya u feel it but nuthin unmanageable

well here is mine on 22 like i said i dont think the ride is that bad like people tend to exagerate, like i said i had 20 on my e class, everybody has their own prefrence, so far the ride aint bad and i drive it almost every other day and i take it for long trips on weekends.

Can someone tell me the best Lexani tire to use for my 22’s ?? So I don’t have to really worry about that suspension bolt ?? I have a 2004 Mercedes S500 and the tires I want to get are 245/30/22 all around but want to know best Lexani tires to use for that damn suspension bolt !!!
