04-06 can play Mp3 cd's and mp3 DVD's with limitations.
but there is not Aux input for your standalone mp3 player.
YOu can however install the Gateway Ipod kit.

Do a search on this site for installation tips and tricks There have been a few installs for the 04 thru 06 S class so you should get good tips form this forum.
Look for detailed posts from member Skylaw... This should be the only stop you need to make as he has put an awesome guide together for this particular install.
