V60s phone problem

V60s phone problem
I have a'04 s430 which had a v60i phone. I just purchased a v60s ($50) on Ebay (there is no mercedes emblem on it) The v60s had a thicker back cover, so I took the back cover off my phone( thinner cover ) It pluged right in the cradle and the functions of the phone seem to work.
I called the owner (number was in phone) and she said it came out of her husbands s430. She thought it was a 2000. Because of the age, I wonder if it is 911 compatable. Is there any way to find out how old this phone is ? and how much use it has on it ? and if it is 911 compatable?
