dynamic seats?
Does anyone know what Dynamic seats are? I have an 02' S500 with massage seats plus about 4 other buttons but but not dynamic. I was told this would firm the sides of the seats when making sharp turns. Do I have this feature on mine? even though I see nothing that says dynamic?

Drive-dynamic seats do pump the side bolsters in turns to keep you from sliding. They're controversial. Some people hate them (my wife) and switch them off. I love them and keep them on all the time. They're standard on AMG S-class models. I don't know if they were available as an option on S500s, but if they were it wasn't ordered very often.

THEY ARE BRILLIANT on the W221 S550 - I leave them on all the time.

VERY VERY VERY good.

Just checked. Drive-Dynamic seats were an option on the S500 (code 317) starting in 2004.
