Had my first brake job.....
at 31K miles. Strangely enough, I only needed rear pads and rotors. My dealer wanted $625...got it done at a local German garage for $425 out the door. Parts are all MB OEM.
The pads were down to the metal...I'm wondering if my wife drove it for a long distance with the parking brake applied???
Any one else had the rear brakes wear out ahead of the fronts?

The parking brake is a separate drum. It doesn't wear the pads. Rear wearing out first is odd, though. Maybe there's something out of whack with the brake force distributing system.
