COMANDs are very different for different years and geographies (and you don't state either in your instance), but if you have a GPS-equipped COMAND the time should be coming from the satellites and accurate to within less than a microsecond. There might be an option in the cluster display to get the time from COMAND/head unit versus set it manually. It should be set to COMAND/head unit. There might be an option in the SYS menu for a TIME submenu that selects between GPS time and an internal clock. Explore both cluster and COMAND menus for this option.

You have posted several problems with your car, Oddemann - we could help you far more easily if you'd give us the year of your car and some hint of whether it is U.S., European, or Japanese specification. Most folks do this by providing their country or state, but you don't even have to be that specific.

Sometimes we're lucky, and the answer is the same for all; other times it isn't.

Please help us to help you - and other newbies, please take heed!!
