I had a brief look in the forums, looking for access to the Engineers Menu (I believe it's called). Tried out a few things and no success.

My main desire is to allow the TV in the front seats to be viewable while driving.

Anybody help?

Does your COMAND have a "TV" button? If so, you may be able to activate it. If not, you will need to make equipment additions for it to work.

Forum contributor miroj is in Sydney and is very knowledgeable about such matters; I know Australia is a big country (you don't tell us just where you are), but perhaps he could help if you send him a private message or an e-mail.

Use the forum advanced search tool to find miroj (just enter his name in the "user name" box), and when results are displayed click his name on the left side of any post he has made, and follow the options presented.

Well if you mean command as in the actual command console, then no. It has a video button though, and when you click on that it brings up "TV, DVD, etc."

I had a go at the holding mute, telephone and service for 45 seconds thing, without luck.

I might also note that the command console is brand new now, was replaced under warranty. The new one has a cassette player too. (If that helps identify it).

What sort of additional equipment is needed?
