I got a question for you guys, did anyone install their own security system, or is the S500 already have the best one. Also does anyone where a club or lock on their steering wheel, or is there just no point.

They didnt car with the car.

Is it possible to make your own on CD-R?

 

Congrats on your purchase Gondon... If you want to add a security system to your vehicle im sure there are convinence locations to do it like Best Buy, Circuit City and other 3rd party Co.

 

Crap, the i was just going over the paperwork

and we agreed on 26k, but looking at the paperwork it said $27300, feel tricked. Yet when i asked him why 27300 he said with taxes, so i though ok 26000+ tax. But he just took car base 27300 zz. I dont think its an error. Any way i can get my $$ back, or once my signature is there its too late.

I wouldn't let kids at Best Buy touch this car. Go to a reputable shop to do this kind of thing. I believe the car already has a darn good system. I wouldn't worry about the steering wheel thing either.

p.s holy **** i still cant find the "right" seat position, so many options I had one for a moment, but then my friend knocked it off, spent next 30 min trying to set it up lol...

also my rear shade button doesnt work for some reason..
sound system is monster.

 

Search the forums for nav CD. Information has been posted several times. You definitely have a "D" nav system, so ignore the stuff on "C" nav.

 

Try ebay..... thats were I bought my entire set for 150 including the mercedes booklet they come in.

Agian great car look really clean in my opnion I would remove that yellow sticker on the backside of the car takes the focus off that nice rear end.

 

I drove one night and the break dust is already setting in

what about the tire size....i am trying to get 19in amgs monoblocks with 275/35/ZR19 front and 245/40/ZR19 rear i am concerned about quality ride.....

I actually like the pre-face lift tail lights with the AMG package, I think it looks way more meaner and muscular.

I read somewhere you can upgrade to a 2004 widescreen navigation, and also get the new style headlights and you're all set

 

you need to hurry up and change the nasty orange bumper light and spray them to match your car. That was the first thing I bought for my S. ps also take that nasty yellow sticker off the rear also.
