Question 2002 S 55
I have been offered an '02 S 55 MBNA "factory car" with 9,000 miles and the warrenty and preventive maintenance extended to 4 yrs/60000 miles from my date of delivery and titled as new for $88,000 all in plus sales tax. I've driven it and it is absolutely wonderful but I think the price is a little high considering I can get a brand new '02 S 500 sport with the same equipment other than the AMG upgrades for thousands less. Opinions please.

For the record and comparison, I can get a new 2002 S 500 Sport for $80-81,000 plus tax.

The S55 will have more power, better handling, and better looks.
Also IMO having an AMG means better recognition for you. I guess it is a status thing.
