clunk on front pass side - control arm bush???

clunk on front pass side - control arm bush???
hello all, problem with my 2000 S430 that i have lived with for the last 12 months
i hear a soft clunk/rattle when i go over small bumps from the front pass side. i took it to the dealer who said it was the lower control arm bushing. they replaced the bushing (pressed it in - not the whole arm).
the fix worked for 1 month and the noise came back. i should have gone back to the dealer but i did not. that was 2 yrs ago
does anyone know what this might be? i am tempted to have the front lower control arm replaced by an independant mechanic
any advice?

you replaced the front lower control arm (guide link) but it could be the spring link (rear lower control arm) the bushings go bad and the arm can hit the subframe $$.
