clunk on front pass side - control arm bush???

clunk on front pass side - control arm bush???
hello all, problem with my 2000 S430 that i have lived with for the last 12 months
i hear a soft clunk/rattle when i go over small bumps from the front pass side. i took it to the dealer who said it was the lower control arm bushing. they replaced the bushing (pressed it in - not the whole arm).
the fix worked for 1 month and the noise came back. i should have gone back to the dealer but i did not. that was 2 yrs ago
does anyone know what this might be? i am tempted to have the front lower control arm replaced by an independant mechanic
any advice?
