I have got to move back into the city this will crack you guys up!!!
So,
I driving home about 2:30 am down the usual darkest road in the State of Texas at my usual 80+MPH because my car feel so good there,, Then all of a sudden I look up and there is this big a#$ Black cow, bull, alien, I don't know what it was, but it was wayyyy bigger than my car, and it came crossing the street right in front of me like it was headed home from a hards days work!!
So I slammed on my brakes, and turned the wheel to steer away from this "thing", and just missed his tail by inches...
Then after praising GOD for life, I realized " Damn this car handles nice!!!!
NO Skid, just hard stop, swerve, and back on the road like it was nothing...
Mind you I wouldn't want to repeat that maneuver but it sure was nice that my vehicle responded that way...
That being said.. IF anyone is looking for a nice house to rent I have one 12 miles from Austin Airport, my *** is moving BACK into the city!!! These people let their cows and horses run free out here like dogs and cats...Which I'm sorry to say but I'd much rather turn into road kill than to battle Betsy the freaking bull!!!

All humor aside, I am very grateful to be able to share this with you guys...Anything could have happened......

Reminds me of an incident in the '70's when we were going to run a security convoy over a backwoods road in Maine. The weather was extremely foggy, but fog wasn't quite touching the ground - 4 to 6 feet above ground was fairly clear. Above that, you could not see a thing.
The sweep team that preceded the convoy reported that four trees were in the road. I was puzzled - the road was paved and used often. I asked, "Do you mean they fell into the road?" "No, they're growing in the the road. Oh, standby." (brief pause....)
"Never mind. It was a moose. Road is clear now."
Tall moose, but not a tall tale. It happened.
