is it not correct that if your car is equipped with the folding mirror option, then you can select the fold when locking from the mfd?

Check your owners manual, should say how to engage folding mirrors when locked. Mine gives me the option.

ANd it closes by itself when you lock your car 2000-2002?

I tihnk this was discussed b4 and we all agreed that It only closes autro on 2003 + and we need to close it manually

thanks guys,
it looks like, I was not informed properly by the dealer who sold me the car. I will double check the manual but last I checked, it did not give me any information regarding that

folding mirrors

I was told all all w220's have this option I have an 02' and they fold in when I lock the car via remote and fold out when I open the door. they stopped working for a while and brought my car to my dealer (Lakeview Mercedes) on long Island the service manager connected the car to a computer and he re-programmed them to work again. Thats when he told me they all have this option they just have to be programmed.
