display defective !!

2000 S500
display defective !!
hi all, i think and i hope just my instrument cluster is busted..it said display defective, and i got all kind of wired problem at the same time.
my park brake light is on, AC not working(blow but not cold),turn signal light not working just front driver side,and outside temputure display is not lid.
i called MBUSA and tell them about the problem (just display defective massage) the guy said, if it the cluster it will be under extened warranty,so i'll bring the car to my local dealer tomorow. oh, my car is 2000 S500.
any body had this kind of problem before? any info would be appreciated..

Why are people still talking about recalls and VINs? Since November, 2006 all W220 instrument clusters are covered by a 10-year warranty extension, regardless of date of manufacture, number of miles, number of owners, etc.
Any problem with a cluster in a W220 (or 215 CL) is covered for 10 years from date of sale to original owner. Any dealer who talks about checking VIN needs to be brought up to date.

hi, my dealer just call me! its not a cluster,, its a Front Sam crontroller that needs to be replace, he said $ 642 to do it! Damn..
i dint say yes to fix it yet! should i say no and birng the car to indy?

That could be one of the reasons my SunShade doesnt go up, the button is dead my guy said it could be the SAM, but he didnt check it out.
