Ethos Gas/Oil Additive
What experience has any one had with a gas/oil additive called Ethos which is supposed to marked increase gas mileage and permit use of regular gas in premium gas vehicles such as my Mercedes S320?

the cost of the additive/scam
additives cant change fuel economy,they can change combustion efficiency but in order for the engine to attempt to go a longer distance on less fuel you would have to start adjusting injector dwell and monitoring combustion temps and then find the "sweet spot"in the rpm that was most efficient and still not damaging to the engine.additives that claim to boost fuel economy are a scam,there are to many variables involved and our stock engine management parameters arent capable of producing what the additive is claiming.Just be nice to your benz and burn premium,it's the only cost effective option.note'this info is based on a healthy well maintained engine/drivetrain.
