It's extremely easy and totally worth the effort. The cars paint feels baby skin soft after claying.

1. Spray lubricant on car and on the clay
2. Rub clay back and fourth like eraser.

Pretty much, you are erasing your car paint to get the containments out.

Do u press the clay to form a patty like shape that your whole hand can cover? Do kits actually come with enough clay?

BTW You have a BEAUTIFUL house!

you did it the right way, congrats.

I used the full mequires system (step 1,2,3): Clay, crystal polish, carnuba wax (you can use NXT v 2.0 synthetic wax if you like) and random orbital buffer. The results were unreal. The days of doing just wax don't work anymore, you have to do all 3 steps to get full results.

I used to do the same steps about 10 years back but as you become familiar with products you move up to trying different products which yield results unimaginable. The Meguiars 1-2-3 System works really great!

Meguiars NXT 2.0 is unbelievable.
