I almost brought my S65 in for a spurious service call last week. I was transporting a large bucket of flowers and I tried to move the front passenger seat forward from the right rear door (a button controls whether the door seat control works the rear or front right hand seat). It didn't work. I figured that it was a dreaded door control module failure. On a hunch, I went to the drivers door and switched the rear window lockout button. Sure enough, that disables the remote seat operation too. It makes sense that you'd need a way to lock out kids from playing with it. Actually, the only passengers that I've had that played duelling seats were corporate vice presidents but it's nice to know I can make them behave too.
