DIY? Replace Driver Side Mirror

THe housing is very easy to come off. Adjust your mirror so that it goes towards the car as much as possible. You will see a metal clip in the center of the housing. use a small driver or something to press the clip and pull on the housing to release. you will then have to adjust your mirror back to a straight position so that you can pull the housing straight off.
The mirror is held on by a plastic circular locking device that you will see when you remove the housing located at the rear center of the mirror. Just turn it I think counter clockwise and it will free the mirror. Watch the connector for the heater if you have one.
If you have to remove the entire assembly, there are three torx bolts that hole it on. you may have to fold the mirror to gain access to the last screw I cant remember.
