2003 saw the change of headlights, tail lights, hood/grill, standard wheels, widescreen nav, redesigned seats and higher quality materials used in some cases
2004 new standard wheels again, 7speed transmission, same widescreen, only with a few more buttons along left and right sides of the screen, and DVD nav disc vs the previous cd collection

expect more maintanance
started with a 2003 C240,then a 2002 E320,and finally a 2003 S500.we love our S.it is hard to explain just how well the S performes and grows on you,It's everything you have probably hoped it will be for you personally."BUT" they are designed for the wealthy, replacement parts, especially electrical components will make you beg for mercy at the service cashiers desk and she wont even blink an eye.start with a CPO car and purchase the additional 24 months extended warranty.approx $4800 and worth every penny, buy it from a well known MB dealer.unless you have really deep pockets"$",avoid the pinnacle S600.it is a fantastic car but in my opinion not a really practical daily driver.you can get a great S for $35k to $50k depending on year and miles.Go get it!
