replaced the sensors, get the 4 tire presure readings and then the 1 malfunction pops up TIRE PRESURE CONTROL VISIT WORKSHOP but i still get pressure readings. also when i reset the selectin is always on no and i move to yes. whats up. ps i already took thr old tire pressure monitors out of the trunk thinking they were possible sending a signal and causing an issue ,.

Make sure you calibrate the system. Set the four tires, when cold, to the recommended inflation from the gas flap, using an accurate pressure gauge. Then do the TPMS reset at the cluster. Then drive around for 15 minutes or so. The sensors don't read absolute pressure, only changes from a baseline, so they need to be calibrated when new. If the two tires on either axle are off by a couple of pounds, it prevents the calibration, which may be your problem. TPMS doesn't mean you can do without a good gauge.

You can download the owner's manual at http://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/#/servPrtsOwnersManuals/

Other than that, search on "TPMS reset." It has been discussed.

I had the same problem with my S55 and what it was is that if one tire has about 10% difference in pressure it will throw that code. Make sure they are all the same and reset it.

TPMS was giving me fits until the dealer replaced the control unit. they fiddled with sensors for months, but since the control unit replacement, all is well in tpms land.
