On the other hand, it is possible that the seat and steering wheel did not reset to the normal driving position as they should when you entered the car.
You might try resetting the seat position by holding the memory position button you use, in, after turning the ignition on. However, just to be sure there isn't something else I'm not aware of, I would open the drivers' window and press the memory button from outside the car, or do it from the passenger seat. If there is a serious malfunction in the memory system, you don't want to be in the seat when repositioning it.
Don't forget, you can override the seat's moving to an improper or uncomfortable memory position by using the seat controls themselves.
If that doesn't remedy the problem, take a look at the steering wheel and seat reset procedures at http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w220...ml#post2216730.

The easy exit feature for the seat will move the seat back only if it is set fairly far forward. If it is already back far enough, according to MB parameters (I don't know what they are), it will not go further back.
The easy exit feature is activated or deactivated in the instrument cluster display.
Automatic folding of the mirrors when locking the car is also activated in the instrument cluster. Not all years have this feature. The mirrors can be folded when desired using the control buttons on the driver's door.
