Catalytic Converters

My cats on my car have been knocking now for about 6 months. I did searches here and found that the warranty was 10 years or 80,000 miles.

I took my time about getting the car to the dealer as I hate the downtime and figured I would wait for my next B service.

Anyhow, for some reason, I decided to take it in because i was sick of the noise and pulled in to get it done and my service advisor told me the warranty is 7 years and 70,000 miles. Thank god I only had 68,900 miles on it and I didn’t wait for the B service.

Anyhow, I am just posting to make everyone aware that the warranty is 7 years and 70,000 miles not the 10 year 80,000 miles like I read.

Car runs so much better with the new Cats btw.

Thanks.
