My used W220 was debadged by the previous owner, and I'd prefer to re-badge it... Can someone measure where exactly the S begins maybe height from the bottom of the trunk to the bottom of the S and length from the side edge of the trunk to the left side of the S.
I promise I'm NOT putting an S55 or AMG badge on it either....lol

If you use the body line in the center of your trunk.. you would be at 60mm to the bottom of he S,

if you put a strait edge along the straight part above your tail lights you will be 67mm from the beginning of the trunk at the angle to the beginning of the S.

I had pics but my camera won't cooperate this morning..sorry.

Do you think they would if I didn't buy the badge from them?

exactly, just ask and see what they say. i had mine done at a keyes european mercedes, no problems. some dealerships may charge, it just varies. but ultimately, just ask them to put it on, it should be free since its a beyond easy job for them
