subwoofer question
hey u guys,
I want to upgrade the factory sub for something with a lil more thump. Anyone here know what size is there now and maybe replaced it themselves and have any info for me?

All I can tell you is that it is a 10" sub mounted in the rear deck. Seems to mount from the top but fires downward into the trunk. You can see it in plain view if you remove the trunk liners. There appear to be 3 visible plastic clips that can be compressed to release the sub ( after removing the deck cover from inside the car?...)

I sold my s500 but i have a custom box that will fit with 2 12" kicker l7 and a hifonics amp the whole set up rms at 1500 watts but bestbuy install it for $150 it fits perfect for the s class and will leave room still for groceries or whatever. the subs are about a couple months old iwant $1100 for the setup if interested anyone
