Post screaching

hey all,
replaced my rear brake pads 3 days ago...but there is still a loud screaching noise every time i hit the brakes...any ideas? The pads were from the dealer...should i lubricate them or what? The noise is really bothersome haha

Thanks in advance,
Will

Did you do the front? squealing happens more frequently in the front than the rear... BUt if they dealer did the job, then the dealer should manage the squealing issue.. Thats what you paid for right?

Apparently the paste that's applied to the pad backing is required to keep things quiet. It dampens the high-frequency vibrations. An SA once told me the brake paste is the most important part of the job from his perspective. Did you use it?
