Tire life?

Just replaced Michelins on 2003 S430 (stock 17") with same Michelins.
Got 34,000 miles on them. The original/new tires got 25,000 miles.

Is this pretty good? Is it possible to get even more miles out of these tires? How many miles did other members get on your "S"?
Just wondering.

You can get anywhere from 10k to 60k depending on several factors. Driving habits are a big factor in tire wear. Type of tire is another. H rated dont wear the same as Z rated. Performance or comfort, all summer or all season, tire brand and noise levels are another factor. Some performance tires sacrifice tread wear for performance. Yokos dont wear the same as conti..... It's hard to tell. For S430 that would probably be normal wear.
