Staggered 20's

I'm just getting around to posting pics of how my car looks since I went staggered last month. Fresh wash, so a perfect time for a photo shoot.

1 hr later I drove up the lake and got it all dusty!!!

the wheels look really good, is that pinstripe on the body?

Great observation... Yes it is.. It was like that when I bought it. Very subtle I like it. It blends so well you can hardly notice it unless the car is clean. I normally would have left this body clean but this super thin stripe is a nice accent.

Funny I had the car a couple a days before I even paid any attention to it...LOL
when the car turns grey ( shade and night ), you cant even see the stripe.

Here's a shot when it was having a Grey moment.

I could do without the grille, but the wheels look nice. I may have stopped at 19s but they are not offputtingly large.

Oliverk..........what don't you like about the grill. I've been going back and forth about ordering one. Sometimes I like it, other times I don't like the oversized star emblem. My g/f has an 08' c300 and it reminds me of her grill

Yes, the 08 C adapted that look... I was glad to see it come from the factory like that since there were so many purist on the fence about my adaptation 2 years ago...

For whatever it's worth, my vote is for the grille. It look great!

Here is the link the for the one I am considering.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...242008157&rd=1

Can you tell me if it's the same as yours?
Is yours all chrome, or is it painted with chrome trim?

Lastly, I like the grilles on the bumper. Where did you get those? I've checked Ebay and haven't found them.

Thanks in advance for your help.

BTW, your car looks awesome!

Yes this looks like the same.. Mine is painted with chrome trim.

YOu won't find the bumper grilles on Ebay. They are custom, I did them myself.

I've simply never cared for that look on sedans. Its not as bad as when people put it on a 210 e class (my prior MB), but it still just looks a bit off. On MB sedans, I like the star on the hood, and no where else on the front end.

simply a matter of personal preference.

I also have distronic so I don't think I could use it anyway.

my06clk,
Beautiful car, love the color. Couple of questions, what size are you running on the rears (275/30?) and where did you get the exhaust tips? They are the best looking ones I've seen, they look like they come right from the mufflers instead of hanging there in space.
Thanks.
Wyatt

Thanks for your reply. I saw your postings about the bumper grille on the "other" site. Slick!!!!

They say imitation is the best type of flattery. Consider your self flattered, I already started taking my grill apart.
