Tint color on a silver S500
What type of tiny looks best on a silver S class? There are two types I have seen in shops, the regular dark tint and the more reflective silver tint.
I am leaning towards the regular medium shade tint, but a guy who does lots of Mercedes says the silver type looks the best.
Thanks

I'm still not sure I agree.

window tint
Thanks for the reply, Joe. I went ahead and tinted my car with the medium dark tint, not the silver type. The car looks great. I think the dark tint sets off the silver better and matches the pillars, which looks good. I do think the silver type does look a bit ghetto or flashy , with silver on silver. Happy New Year!

Did you make sure your tint shop put pads in your doors? Otherwise, I've heard that eventually the tint will scratch due to the power window hardware rubbing against the window.

window pads
Hi Dizzy. No, I did not get pads. The owner also has a S500 and did not know about the pads or "moleskin". He said drivers side may scratch within a year or so and just redo that window.
Do you know where I can get moleskin and how to install it?
Thanks
