Air Condition Has A Mind of Its Own
The AC in my 2000 S500 has a mind of its own. It runs fine at times and at other times it does not run at all. Had them put it on the machine to check all sensors and there were no faults.
I'm told it maybe the compressor going out.
Can anyone provide some directions.

I had the same problem with my S430, the dealer told me it was a pump going, then they flashed the coolant and said it was another part leaking. I changed it and filled up the AC again. the next day the AC turned off again.
I got the codes for error from this site and it said that the coolant level was low. I did reset of the diagnostic and it works fine. Try doing diagnostic with car computer and then reset it.
