Loose Shifter

The shifter in my s430 is loose,lots of play. Is there a bushing that's worn?

Take a look at the shifter connecting rod under the car. If there is play, it will be there. There are no bushings that you ca put in the shifter. You have to replace the entire module. But if your play is front to back, its not the shifter.
