2004S COMAND and V60s

So I have a question for both the guys with a 2004S and the V60s motorola. Occasionally when I put the phone in the cradle the COMAND system kind of freaks out and when I try to make a call I hear the stereo loudly through the phone speakers or something and the call fails on my side. I think it connects the call but I can't hear anything. Anyone else have this problem and any definitive fix known?

TB, that sounds like bad connections between the phone and the cradle. Is your cradle OE, or did you add it?

First, I'd check that they don't have grunge collected on them, and that none are bent or pushed in so as not to make contact. If things are OK there, I'd look at the connections inside the console (use the phone bulletin for your car at http://home.earthlink.net/~phdwebsit..._bulletins.htm)

Also, the OE cradle for the V60S phone is larger than for cradles for older models. Using the older cradle with a V60S can cause poor connections as well.

Thanks Sky,
The phone looks good. I'll check the cradle tomorrow.

Well I checked the pins on the phone and cradle and all is well. I'll look into the harness tomorrow or Wednesday.
