Not exactly true! When we tune any of the cars that we do, we give the client the option to either raise the limit to 186 or remove it completely.

One of our 600 clients reports a 202mph top speed. Check out Mike Cohen's testimonial... http://www.veloceperformance.com/testimonial.htm

while Im sure a 600 or 65 can get to that range, stock speedos are wildly inaccurate at that speed.

GPS verification would be interesting.

Whether the speed was 'indicated' or he has NASA on board, I am sure that it was quick!

sorry for the delay on this topic...just got done dealing with a hurricane!

anybody that knows me understands my passion for top speed...been 201mph on a hayabusa via gps...got it on video!

the 03-06 600's top speed ranges from 130-132...i'm guessing the difference comes from how much tread you have on your tires...the more tread the more mph (bigger tire)...i took these photos when i was in mexico with no traffic.

on the busa in stock form i gained almost 4 mph at top speed (193 vs 196.5 via gps) from going from a worn tire to a brand new tire...it was the only change.

my previous e55 would range from 155-157

both my 2000 s430 and 2001 s500 had a top speed of 130 also.

No, the digital speedometer is not pegged to the analog's. And don't forget V12 and AMG models have different analog speedometers. Mine goes to 220.

I tried mine and I reached 250-255km/h (about 150-155 mph) on the speedo. It felt like it had quite a lot of power left but since it was limited that was it ...
